Now that you have the proper adapter on your SAGsetter, it is time to put it to work! Place your bike on it's stand. Place the adapter end into the axel hole or clamp the SAGsetter to the swingarm of your bike. Extend the SAGsetter and clamp to the rear fender. Loosen the thumb screw on the fender clamp and slide the scale to zero.
Take the bike off the stand and read the SAGsetter scale. This reading is your static sag. Should be 15 to 25mm. Sit on the bike with all your gear on in your race position and balance. This is your racesag. Should be 90 to 100mm To measure your race sag without help slide the indicator o-ring down before balancing on the bike. The indicator o-ring will stop at the furthest point of travel and stop. This is your race sag. Do not bounce after you balance, this will give you a false reading.

| Align your rear wheel. Take the clamp off your SAGsetter and measure from the swing-arm bolt to the rear axel of your bike until both sides have the same measurement.
